Charities of Choice

We know that just because a child can’t see, it doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have a vision for their future. We work to make their visions a reality by supporting children with vision loss and their families through our Charities of Choice.

We partner with Vision Ireland, the new name for NCBI​, RSBC in the UK and Perkins School for the Blind in the USA.

Global Volunteering Programme

One of the many perks of being a Scoper is that you are gifted a Paid Day Off to volunteer EVERY YEAR as part of our global volunteer drive #volunteeringatscope.

Not everyone knows a charity they can volunteer with; our CSR team aim to support our people and local charities in organising impactful volunteering experiences.

Scope Community Fund

The Scope Community Fund is a Sustainability Investment Fund​. It is designed to support our people and the causes close to their hearts. The Scope Community Fund enables us to give back to more people in the communities where we live and work. Charities can apply for up to £2000 of funding to support the delivery of a project.

Patients

We are tenacious about bridging the gap between diagnoses and disease management for our patients globally. ​

We already have the fantastic portfolio of preservative free products, and we are compelled to do more to help enhance peoples quality of life.

Staying Connected​

For us the patient always comes first. We work alongside patient organisations to increase our people’s understanding and awareness of the lived experiences of our patients. These activities comply with all relevant regulatory requirements.​

Patient Engagement & Education

Working to deliver positive patient outcomes motivates us every single day in Scope. We work closely with patient representative organisations who advise us on what items patients need support with, for example, managing appointments, nutritional interventions or understanding their treatments.

Our CSR and Medical Teams work closely together and partner with leading experts in Dry Eye Disease to deliver free, practical, and impartial educational sessions and supports to help patients to mind and manage their conditions.

Accelerating Impact

To accelerate our impact, we collaborate and invest in innovative programmes and supports for patients. This includes our partnership with the Dry Eye Foundation and our sponsorship of the MyDryEye app.

We dedicate time to preserving the planet for this generation and future generations as our business continues to grow. Environmental considerations are incorporated across the company from products to operations​

As our therapy areas evolve in line with global healthcare demands, we strive to integrate sustainability into one or more aspects of the life cycle of our products.

Journey To Net Zero

While we are a medium size company and our environmental impact is significantly lower than larger companies, we are committed to doing our bit to make a difference through our carbon emissions management. Our aim is to become a Net Zero company.

Sustainable Behaviours

Integrating sustainability across the company is a priority in Scope. By fostering a culture of sustainability across functions and at all levels, we believe that we can add impact to our work under our Planet Pillar. This has started through the introduction and updating of important policies, which has given us the platform to engage in meaningful conversations around moral, ethical and sustainable practices. Our company is built on dynamic and collaborative partnerships.
